U.K. Work Stoppage Update Expected for November 30

Trade unions in the United Kingdom, including Border Agency workers, are expected to hold a work stoppage on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. United and Continental currently do not anticipate any flight cancellations; however, customers traveling to/through airports in the U.K. may experience significant arrival delays, including immigration processing wait times up to several hours. London Heathrow (LHR) is expected to be impacted the most, but delays are possible at all U.K. airports mentioned below:

· Aberdeen/Dyce, Scotland (ABZ)

· Birmingham, England (BHX)

· Edinburgh, Scotland (EDI)

· Glasgow, Scotland (GLA)

· Leeds/Bradford, England (LBA)

· London-Gatwick, England (LGW)

Continental to begin service to Haiti

Beginning June 9, 2011, Continental Airlines will begin service from Newark to Port-Au-Prince. It will begin with three flights weekly, and on July 1, 2011, it will begin daily flights to Port-Au-Prince. Delta is offering free In-Flight wifi to Facebook during February.

During the 2010 holiday season Delta offered free In-Flight Wi-Fi internet service (Thank you Google!) Now - from February 1 – 28, Delta customers can access In-flight Wi-Fi Internet to connect to Facebook without purchasing a flight pass (this time courtesy of Ford). Just click on the informational ad from the Gogo landing page – that’s it!

Amazingly - Wifi is currently on ALL of Delta's - and they are now adding it to their regional fleet as well. (Hello United - catch-up please!)
